We start by confirming the wall build-up — sarking, battens, insulation and cavity — matches the manufacturer's warranty conditions. Battens are set out to profile and fixing pattern. Cladding is dry-laid where possible, then installed with correct fastener spacing, expansion joints and flashings. All penetrations, sills and heads are flashed before the cladding closes them in.

How long does an external re-clad take?

A full external re-clad on an average Sydney home usually runs three to six weeks depending on the size of the facade, the cladding system, and whether we're also replacing windows, sarking or insulation while the walls are open. Can I stay in my home while it's being re-clad?
